I wanted a crowd of different diverse people with a bit of mystery about them, I wanted each person to have a story to tell but you would have to speculate on that story, because they are keeping it to themselves. My people paintings have a story to tell, but you will never really know what that story is, but you can speculate. I love painting people, but I don’t want to just paint port
