This is a one of a kind mixed media painting of the Aloe Vera plant in a terracotta pot. I called this painting 'Mandala' because of its unusual view point looking down on the plant. The shape, leaves and colours repeat in a circular fashion reminding me of the intricate patterns of a mandala.
The bright turquoise and greens are heightened by the dark green background of the mossy earth.
