Who can use Wonderstreet?
How do I 'like' something on Wonderstreet?
It’s really easy – when you come across a picture that inspires you, just click on ‘Like it’.
Can I 'like' things from other websites on Wonderstreet as well?
You can ‘like’ or ‘request’ anything that interests you, but the third party needs to say that it’s okay to use their pictures before the image goes live on Wonderstreet. So, once you’ve found a picture that you want to use, we ask the owner for permission to post it on Wonderstreet. Once the third party has said it’s okay, it’ll go live on Wonderstreet and everyone will be able to see it.
How do I ‘like’ something from another website?
There are 2 ways. One way is to go to the Wonderstreet homepage, click on ‘Add’ and choose ‘Add images from the web’. After that, you can leave everything to us. We’ll try and get in touch with whoever owns the image and, if they give us their permission, it’ll go live on Wonderstreet. The other way is to use the Bookmarklet tool. You can add this tool to your browser by clicking on ‘Add’ and dragging the green button to the toolbar of your browser. Once you’ve done that, you can just click that button to ‘like’ or ‘request’ any image on the internet.
Why do I need a list?
Sometimes it helps to separate images according to what you’re doing with them. For example, if you need a new kitchen, it’s nice to have a list that’s dedicated to pictures of kitchens that you love.
How can I create a list?
Click on ‘Add’ and select ‘Create List’.
How can I edit or delete a list?
Click on your profile in the main menu and then select lists. Simply choose the list you want to change, and edit/delete options are right there.
What does it mean to ‘follow’ someone?
It just means that you’re interested in that person’s activity, whether it’s the images they’ve ‘claimed’ or the images they’ve ‘liked. Following them means that their images show up in your feed, so it’s easy to see what they’ve added and gain inspiration.
What is the difference between following a list and following a user?
If you follow a list, each time an image is added to that list, it will show up in your Following Feed. If you follow a user, then any images they add or have ‘liked’ will show up in your feed.
Why should I post my images to Wonderstreet?
Wonderstreet is a place where people can share their passions for creative things by creating “likes” and “requests” on images. There are many good reasons to post your images to Wonderstreet:
1. All images link back to your own website.
2. Wonderstreet is invite-only. If you receive an invite to post your images (when someone tagged your images as wonderful for example) then that will give you full access to our exclusive community.
3. Showcase your work in an exclusive collection of wonderful images.
4. Share your creativity and get inspired by others as well.
5. See who likes your images.
6. Use the private messaging tool to get in touch with people who create requests for your images. Only you can see who created requests for your images!
7. It only takes 30 seconds of your time.

Why do I have to ‘claim’ a picture?
We think it’s important to respect copyright laws, especially when revenue is potentially going to change hands. For that reason, when you upload a picture, you must tell us whether it’s yours, whether you’ve got permission to use it, or whether it comes from anywhere else on the internet.
What happens if I’ve no idea who owns a picture?
Found a random picture you love on the internet? Got no idea who it belongs to? Don’t worry, leave it to us. When you upload an image, you’ll be asked if it belongs to you or someone else. If it belongs to someone else, we’ll try and get in touch with the owner to get their permission before it goes live on Wonderstreet.
What happens when I upload one of my own images?
If you tell us that the image belongs to you, it will be published on Wonderstreet immediately.
How do I upload images to Wonderstreet?
Just go to ‘Add’ and you’ll have 3 options. You’ll be able to upload an image from your mobile/tablet/laptop, you’ll be able to submit an image from the web, or you can use the Wonderstreet Bookmarklet tool.
How does the Bookmarklet tool work?
The Bookmarklet tool makes it easier and quicker to ‘like’ and ‘request’ images that you’ve seen on the internet. You can add this tool to your browser by going to ‘Add’ and dragging the little green button to your browser’s toolbar. Once it’s there, you can click the ‘Request’ button in your browser on any web page. That will then extract all the images on that web page into a popup and you will be able to choose which images you want to upload to Wonderstreet.
How can I get paid for the commissions that I’ve earned?
Every user can register one PayPal account to receive any commission. You can edit your PayPal details at any stage by going to ‘Personal Settiings’, then choosing ‘Paypal settings’. Commission will be paid on the 3rd of each month. You can check your balance, plus any payments still due, at any time by going to your profile and clicking on ‘Image commission’.
What will it cost me to sell something on Wonderstreet?
It’s completely free to add pictures and place listings in your Wonderstreet Store. Once a sale takes place, and only if the payment is done through Wonderstreet, then there will be a 25% transaction fee.
How can I sell my product or service on Wonderstreet?
Customers can ‘Request’ anything from any images that you post to Wonderstreet. People can appreciate and ‘like’ what you do, and – if they ‘follow’ your activity - your products or services then show up on their feeds. That can create exposure and unlimited advertising potential for your products or services. When you post an image (and you claimed it, which means you stated that it is your own image), then this image will be assigned to you. If someone now creates a ’request ’ on your image, then you will get a private message in your inbox stating the description of what is requested and the contact details of the person who created the ’request ’ (as far as these details have been given by the person who created the ’request ’). You can then get in touch with your potential customer (and just to be clear, this whole process is completely free for both you and your potential buyer).

What are Wonderstreet stores?
A store allows you to have a place that’s entirely dedicated to promoting your products and services. Setting them up is easy and free.
Why do I need a Wonderstreet store?
We recommend you set up a store because it’s a great (and free) way to find new customers, advertise what you can do and market your products/services effectively. Once your store is approved then you can add prices to your images which enables enables Wonderstreet users to buy your products in just a few clicks.
How do I create a Wonderstreet Store?
Just fill out this application. We’ll review your details and get back to you as soon as possible. Once you’re up and running, you can edit your store and your listings at any time.
How do WonderStreet coupon codes work?
WonderStreet coupons, also called promo-codes, can be created by sellers to support their promotional strategy by offering discounts to prospective customers. Buyers will redeem the coupons to get a discount when buying items in the store from the seller.
How do I create my WonderStreet coupon?
Go to your WonderStreet store and click on "Create coupon" on any item. From this point, simply complete the required information fields for the coupon name, price, quantity and expiration date, and hit "Create coupon".
What requirements does the system have for WonderStreet coupons?
Make sure the code is between 6-20 characters and only uses either numbers, capital letters, dashes, underscores or full stops. An example of this could be WONDERFUL2016.
How do I share my WonderStreet coupon?
You will see your created coupon in the coupon table shown under your store manager. Click the 'get link' section next to its name and you will see the code. This can then be shared when marketing and promoting your store items. An interested buyer will simply click onto the link to have the discount automatically applied.
How do I bid?
Here are the steps you should follow:
1. Carefully read the listing – check the dimensions (if appropriate) and make sure you understand exactly what you are buying.
2. Click the ‘bid’ button. You will not need to sign in or become a member – your email and bid will be validated after you have placed your bid.
3. Enter your bid amount in the space provided. Click the ‘place your bid’ button.
Once the listing has ended, you will receive an email telling you whether or not you have won the item. The email will explain what to do next to pay for and receive your item.
What is the minimum price shown on the listing?
Each listing has a ‘minimum price’. This will either be the starting price (if no bids have yet been placed) or the current highest bid plus an incremental value.
Can I change or retract a bid?
By placing a bid, you are agreeing to pay for the item if you are the winning bidder.
As a general rule, you cannot retract or cancel a bid. However, we understand that sometimes mistakes happen. If you need to retract or cancel a bid, contact us straight away - your request to cancel or retract may or may not be possible, depending on the reasons for and timing of your request.
You can retract a bid if:
a. You entered the wrong amount for your bid by accident, perhaps due to a typing error.
b. The seller makes a change to or otherwise updates the details or description of the item (after you have placed your bid) and you no longer wish to bid for it.
c. You have been unable to get in touch with the seller either by email or telephone.
If you would like to retract a bid then please send us an email immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org, with the URL of the listing and the reason for wanting to retract or cancel your bid.
How does the Wonderstreet referral scheme work?
You recruit new members to Wonderstreet and both you and the person you invited are rewarded with credit. The credit is earned after your invitee opens a new Wonderstreet account through the link you provide them with. Your invitee will receive £15 credit as soon as they open the account and you will receive £15 credit as soon as they make a purchase.
What are the restrictions in terms of spending credit?
Credits can be used to contribute a maximum of 25% of the total amount of any purchase on WonderStreet. For example, if you buy something for £200 and you have £50 credit, then you will be billed £150 and the other £50 can be paid with your credits. If you buy something for £200 and you have £500 credits available, then still you can only use £50 from your credits for this particular purchase (because £50 is 25% of £200 which is the maximum amount of credit that can be used on any purchase).
What are the restrictions in terms of receiving credit?
Only that your friend cannot be an existing Wonderstreet member, either having signed up themselves or through another user.
Is it a problem if my friend uses a different email to sign up than the one I sent the invitation to?
All that matters is that your friend uses the unique invitation link you sent to them. As long as they sign up after clicking this link, you will receive the reward credit, regardless of the email they sign up with.
What happens if my friend signs up from another source?
You will not be credited. Unless your friend uses the link you have sent them to sign up, you won't receive your reward.
How can I buy a gift voucher?
You can buy them on the WonderStreet website here. A gift message can be added and we’ll send you a receipt which confirms the value of the voucher, its recipient, the voucher code and your personal message.
Can I top up a gift voucher?
No – each voucher is only sold at its face value like a bank note. If you would like an additional amount, you’ll need to buy another gift voucher.
How does the recipient get their voucher?
WonderStreet only sends vouchers by email. Each voucher has its unique code. You can have your WonderStreet gift voucher sent by email at a date/time of your choice, or print it out yourself and hand it to the recipient.
How do I use my gift voucher?
At the payment screen, rather than enter your payment card details, you enter your unique voucher code and apply it to your purchase. If there’s a balance to pay, you’ll then be asked to add another form of payment to cover the balance. If you don’t use all the balance on your gift voucher, you can keep the balance as a credit to use on future purchases. You can only use one gift voucher per order.
I want to return an item I bought with a gift voucher. How does that work?
The money will be refunded to the gift voucher which was used to pay for it. If you used a credit or debit card to pay for a balance, any extra credit will be sent to that.
How long does my gift voucher remain valid?
Each voucher is valid for two years from its issue date.
Can gift vouchers be exchanged for cash?
Yes, if you change your mind or the recipient prefers cash, you can redeem gift vouchers for cash. There might be a 3% credit card transaction cost (charged by the credit card company) but further than that we send you the full amount back.
